Equipment requirements

 

* Sea Kayak 16′ ish min. with forward and aft bulkheads

* Safety Gear
. PFD / Skirt and , of course, be familiar with wet exits !!!!
. Paddle and spare is not a bad idea
. Tow Belt (prefer Northwater)
. Paddle Float and Pump
. Basic First Aid Kit
. Proper cold water dressing for immersion … Layering / Wet Suit and or Dry Suit (condition dependent) Local Water Temps
. Helmets (we will have some extras)
. A VHF radio is a plus, but not a requirement, as all coaches will have one
